Bibliodrama and bibliotherapy

Abstract
The bibliotherapy is a therapy of giving a help to someone who needs his adjustment to the social surroundings, his growth, and needs to solve his problems in hand by specific activities and interactions with various methods such as discussion, writing, picture-painting, role-playing performance through the medium of bibliotherapeutic materials. The bibliotherapeutic materials include the audio-visual materials such as printouts, movies, videos, CDs, DVDs, and the writing materials such as his own diary, autobiography. A psychodrama is a therapeutic method of a spontaneous drama with no fixed scripts in which the participants understand themselves and solve their problems, and correct their adjustment disorder. On the other hand, bibliodrama adds biblical elements and texts to the basic property of the psychodrama. And some methods such as art, treatment, mediation, imagnation, role-playing, gesture practice, relaxing are added to the bibliodrama, and then some dynamic qualities are made different with the psychodramatic ones. Similarly to the bibliotherapy which uses literary works as the therapeutic materials or device under the surroundings of psychological therapy including participants, literary works, therapists, bibliodrama adds the Scriptures and literary works to the basic properties of psychodrama. In this study, the objectives, elements, procedures, basic principles of the psychodrama and bibliodrama are examined out, and the example of bibliotherapy is introduced with the picture book, Red Tree for the woman in her fifties, and middle schoolgirl who does not adjust to school life well.
